Access to the property is vital for a successful renovation. Please unlock all gates and provide access for landscape protection and remove all usable vehicles away from driveway. Parking away from your home prior to the morning of installation will be extremely helpful. 

If we are removing a roof with an exposed attic due to open lathes or rafters, please cover or remove any valuables stored in the attic. Unless it's noted in a reroof contract, we do not include decking replacement in our standard roof replacements. Amity Roofing is not responsible for cleaning the attic after a re-roof.

Air conditioning, tv, gas, electrical, security systems, computer, cable, telephone and electrical lines should not be installed directly underneath the roof deck. If you are aware of such lines, we must be notified immediately. Amity Roofing is not responsible for these if damaged during installation.

After the project is completed, please inspect the interior connections of your microwave, water heater and hot water exhausts. If you are physically unable to do so, please inform us and we can inspect it for you. Also to ensure proper ventilation, we recommend blowing up into the soffit vents from underneath with a leaf blower to help clear the air flow into your attic. Amity Roofing cannot be responsible for damaged ventilation tubes.

At the end of your renovation project, you can expect an increase of Our scope of work will accommodate the removal and resetting of a satellite dish, but does not include the cost of recalibrating if it is necessary. We ask that you contact your service provider for standby recalibration if it's deemed necessary. Amity Roofing is not responsible for loss of signal. value for your property

We all know Texas weather can be bipolar. In the event that weather does delay our installations, or sneaks up on us, you can expect updates and re-scheduling. Every attempt will be made to keep your roof dried in before the crew leaves each evening in case there's a change in the forecast.

Vibration from the construction can cause loose items on walls or ceiling to shake, fall and break, as well as stir up dust. Prior to installation, we'll ask you remove any items that you feel are potential to fall and that anyone with asthma or allergies not to be present during the installation. Amity Roofing is not responsible for potential occurrences

In order to re-flash a skylight properly, it may require us to remove the glass frame. It may result in sheetrock fragments, dried paint and or texture to fall into your home. Prior to installation, please remove anything underneath your skylight. Amity is not responsible for re-painting or cleanup from pre-existing conditions in skylight wells.

Not every house is design the same, and some landscape can pose challenges. However we attempt as best as possible to protect your landscape, pool, pool equipment, a/c units, etc. throughout the renovation. If you have patio furniture, we ask that they be relocated or moved away from the construction area. Please keep children and animals away from the work area until it's fully completed to ensure their safety.

For each roof replacement, extra materials are ordered and delivered to your home. Any and all leftover material will be collected and returned within 24-48 hours of completion of the project as it remains the property of Amity Roofing. Upon completion, a thorough cleanup will be conducted. If your grass is tall, or low hanging branches over the roof, we suggest you have it mowed & trimmed short to assist with installation and cleanup.
